Entre Dos Países - Within Two Lands, is a visual depiction of my parents’ new beginning within the US. My parents are originally from a small rural town near Nieves, Zacatecas, Mexico, who immigrated to the US in order to overcome adversity and destitution.

A phoenix, in classic mythology, was a bird that would burn itself to ashes and rise again anew displaying a more youthful appearance. This concept of starting anew is prevalent in the human condition with each passing day we live.
